He was predeceased by: his father Paul Max. He is survived by: his wife Antonie Hoppe (Horner); his children, Dean H. Hoppe (Megan) of Agawam, Monica A. Seibert (Michael) of Holyoke and Peter M. P. Hoppe (Jennifer) of Maine; and his brothers, Sigfried Hoppe of Chester and Arno Hoppe of Australia. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
