She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Weidhas and Helen Weidhas (Ostrowski); her son Patrick O'Connor; her grandson Gabriel O'Connor; her husband Albert Midgley; and her former husband Donald O'Connor.
She is survived by: her children, Marybeth Plemmons (Kevin), Tim O'Connor (Terri), Tom O'Connor (Beth) and David Nadeau; her stepdaughters, Carolyn Knisely and Cathy Langlois (Chris); her siblings, Albert Weidhas, Mary Underwood and Elizabeth "Betty" Podolski; and her grandchildren, Holly Szymkiewicz (Eric), Jacob O'Connor, Ashlee O'Connor, Erin O'Connor (Craig Lacey) and Josh Plemmons. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Westfield Public School system in memory of Gail O'Connor-Midgley.
