She was predeceased by: her parents, James Kierse and Winifred Kierse (Brady); her former husband Patrick J. Hurley; and her siblings, Sean, Patrick, Oliver, Alfie Kierse, Claire and Mary Kierse.

She is survived by: her husband Paddy Hurley; her sons, Kerry P. Hurley (Lynn) of Longmeadow, Sean M. Hurley of Sheboygan, WI and Dermot J. Hurley (Maura) of Westfield; her sisters, Mona Keatinge, Dymphna Funge and Vera O'Connor; her grandchildren, Meghan Hurley, Griffin Hurley, Sean Hurley, Colin Hurley and Patrick Hurley; and also Bonnie Harris.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Eileen's name may be directed to the Patrick and Eileen Hurley Scholarship Fund, c/o/ Sons of Erin, 22 William St. Westfield, MA 01085.

“So sorry to learn of my aunt and godmother’s passing. My boyfriend(now husband) and I had a great time with both Eileen and Paddy when we went from Clare to Kerry and met the Hurley relatives in Waterville and around. When I was small she always bought us ‘cookies’ and gave us dollars. She and Paddy loved and laughed together - I believe they are thrilled to be reunited.
