He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Jane Houle (Hentnick); his parents, Alcide Houle Sr. and Katherine Houle (McEvady); his siblings, Marie Brackenhoff, Alcide "Jiggs" Houle Jr. and Armand Houle; and his brother-in-law Peter Hentnick.
He is survived by: his siblings, Robert Houle (Nancy) of Belchertown, Frances Juchno of Belchertown, Denis Houle (Mary Beth) of Granby and Lawrence Houle (Celeste) of Florida; his brother-in-law Stanley Hentnick Jr. (Susan) of Westfield; his children, Michael Houle (Deborah) of Westfield and Kathy Houle (David Hoynoski) of Westfield; and his grandchildren, Brent Houle (Tori) and Alexa Houle (Brendan). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends.
