He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Jane Houle (Hentnick); his parents, Alcide Houle Sr. and Katherine Houle (McEvady); his siblings, Marie Brackenhoff, Alcide "Jiggs" Houle Jr. and Armand Houle; and his brother-in-law Peter Hentnick.
He is survived by: his siblings, Robert Houle (Nancy) of Belchertown, Frances Juchno of Belchertown, Denis Houle (Mary Beth) of Granby and Lawrence Houle (Celeste) of Florida; his brother-in-law Stanley Hentnick Jr. (Susan) of Westfield; his children, Michael Houle (Deborah) of Westfield and Kathy Houle (David Hoynoski) of Westfield; and his grandchildren, Brent Houle (Tori) and Alexa Houle (Brendan). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Firtion-Adams Funeral Service (76 Broad St, Westfield, MA 01085). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery (1390 Main St, Agawam, MA 01001).
