He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Trotman and Cecile Trotman (Benoit); and his sisters, Dorothy Malek, Patricia Spath, Jaqueline Peters and Beatrice Peltier.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Trotman (Laudato); and his children, Terese A. Geehern (Christopher) of Marstons Mills, David C. Trotman (Carol) of Southampton, Elaine M. Anthony (David) of Centerville, Kenneth J. Trotman (Nicole) of Old Forge, NY and Anne M. Butler of East Haven, CT.. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
