Though David may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those David touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlton Carkhuff and Jacqueline Carkhuff (Egan). He is survived by: his wife Roslyn K. Carkhuff (Ashley); and his brother-in-law Scott Ashley (Crystal) of Port Charlotte, FL. He is also survived by many cousins, good friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Firtion Adams Funeral Home (76 Broad St, Westfield, MA 01085). A graveside service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Pine Hill Cemetery (140 W Silver St, Westfield, MA 01085).
