He is survived by: his siblings, Charles F., John Henry, Ruth Delores Cognac and Noreen Evelyn Koehler; his sons, Sean P Smith of Westfield and Joel P. Smith; and his granddaughter Emilia Grace Smith of Cary, NC..
A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the St. Marys Church (30 Bartlett St, Westfield, MA 01085). The military honors was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Massachusetts Veterans' Memorial Cemetery (1390 Main St, Agawam, MA 01001).
