It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carole Thornton of Westfield, Massachusetts, born in Sheffield, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 27, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Curtiss and Lillian Curtiss (Fitzgibbons); her husband Ronald E. Thornton; her son James LaFreniere; and her siblings, Dorothy Johnston, Mary Osborne, Kathleen Hickey, Donald Curtiss, Robert Curtiss and Richard Curtiss.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah A. LaFreniere of Massachusetts, Jay Harris of Southwick, John LaFreniere of Westfield, Denise Sneade (Donald) of Rome, GA and Ronda Miller (Christopher) of Westfield; and her grandchildren, Kelly, Steven, Kate, Gregory, Jessica, Michael, John Ryan, Tanner, Kristina, Adam, Samantha and Timothy.
