She was predeceased by: her parents, Florence LaFountain and Ernest Irving. She is survived by: her husband Stanley R. Ploof; her children, Wendy Prefontaine of Westfield, Tracy Ploof of Westfield and Jason Ploof of East Rockaway, NY.; and her grandchildren, Sara, Meredith, Leah, Elle and Evan.
