With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Christenson (Westfield, Massachusetts), born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 9, 2021 at the age of 78. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Barbara Christenson to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Reeves and Anna Catherine Reeves (Anderson); and her siblings, Patricia A. Nauman, Norma Jean Culp and Ellsworth Christian Bante.
She is survived by: her husband Bruce S. Christenson; her son Brian McDonald of Pittsburgh, PA; her nieces, Barbara J. Nauman of North Kingstown, RI, Coleen S. Nauman of Southampton and Kate L. O'Donnell of Chicopee; and her great-niece Erin P. O'Donnell of Chicopee. She is also survived by eight grandchildren.
Because of Barbara's love of animals, especially dogs, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Westfield Animal Shelter, 178 Apremont Way, Westfield, MA 01085.
