He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Thompson and Helen Thompson (Allavesen). He is survived by: his wife Lorraine M. Thompson (Delaney); his children, Mary E. Culhane (James) of Westborough, Lorraine M. Cain of Northborough and Robert F. Thompson (Maria) of Westborough; his brother Patrick Thompson (Susan); his grandchildren, Marion Fisher, Elizabeth Surber, Brendan Cain, Regis Cain, Leanna Lussier, Kayla Rhuda, Christopher Thompson and Robert Thompson, III; and his great grandchildren, Michael, Mary Jane, Kenny, Evelyn, Eleanor, Christopher, Nikolas, McKenna and McKayla.
