We bid farewell to Robert H. Markert of Westborough, Massachusetts, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 24, 2024 at the age of 90. Robert touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Robert may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Harriet Markert (Hat); and his children, Brooks and Elizabeth. He was also cherished by his wife of 65 years, his children and his five grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 7th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Willows Retirement Center (1 Lyman St, Westborough, MA 01581).
