He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Berthe Nathanson (Weissman); his children, Dr. Jeffrey Nathanson (Rebecca) of Highland Park, IL and Debra (Scott Cushman) of Westborough, MA; his grandchildren, Ari Nathanson, Abby Cushman, Julia Nathanson and Seth Cushman; his daughter Wendy Cheryl Nathanson; and his parents, Jacob Nathanson and Jeanne Nathanson (London).
