He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Alexis and Dorothy Louise Brais (Brewster); and his sister Dorothy Lorraine Bewes. He is survived by: his wife Barbara R. Brais (Morrison); his daughter Marie Brais Beam (Brian Beam); and his grandsons, George Robert of Littleton, MA. and Henry Warren Beam of Littleton, MA..
