He is survived by: his spouse Ann Marie (Kilgarriff); his parent Stella (Cartotto); his children, Gail Ann Giffen (Shawn) of Townsend, MA, Maryjane Stenslie (Craig) of Durham, NH, Richard Thomas Samson (Susan) of Waterville, ME and Patricia Margaret Alden (Bryant) of Conway, NH; his brother Jeffrey Samson (Joy) of Rockland, ME; and his grandchildren, Anthony Giffen, Max Stenslie, Mikaila Horan, Christopher Samson, Eric Samson, Thomas Samson, Amy Samson, Amelya Saras and Claire Alden. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
