Linda Lea Cavanaugh Obituary

Linda Lea Cavanaugh passed away peacefully on January 14, 2022 to embark on a new adventure. She left a bold and beautiful footprint behind and is now looking down on all of us with love. She is predeceased by her lifelong partner, Richard Larter and leaves behind three sisters, Patricia Garrison, Nancy Ca- vanaugh and Margaret Landers. We will miss her eccentric lifestyle and sense of humor, but are blessed to have called her our sister. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
Her early career was spent as a sous chef in Syracuse, NY and NYC, then she went on to graduate from Yeshiva University with a law degree. After passing the NY Bar exam, she practiced law in NYC and London, England.
She retired in Worcester, MA, and lived in Lincoln Park Towers, where she served as President of the Tenants Association for over 8 years.
Linda fought a long and brave battle against cancer and is now at peace. Thank you for being part of our lives Linda Lea, we will see you on the other side. Donations can be made to Hospice Foundation of America, or a local homeless shelter or soup kitchen. At her request, a private family service will be held later this year.
