He was predeceased by: his parents, Claud Clifton Davis and Anna Kelly Davis; his wife Virginia Nenni Davis; his daughter Stephanie Deitzer (Jim); and his siblings, Roy Davis, James Ray Davis, Lavelle Johnson, Juanita Miles, Helen Watson and Midge Dulaney.

He is survived by: his son Claud Philip Davis (Rebecca); and his grandchildren, Jennifer Davis, Claud Matthew Davis and Thomas Davis of Southborough, MA..
