He was predeceased by: his parents, Myer Mintz and Bessie Mintz (Rosenthal); and his sister Bernice (Dan Singer). He is survived by: his wife Alisa Mintz (Berenstein); his daughters, Naomi (Dan Lowenthal) of Larchmont, NY, Abby Mintz of New York City and Elizabeth Mintz-Walpert (Allen Walpert) of Brookline, MA; his sisters, Ellie Blank of New York City and Susan (Robert Slott) of Hyannis; his brother-in-law Isaias Berenstein; his grandchildren, Nathaniel, Jared, Anna Lowenthal, Allie Walpert and Harry Walpert; and his pet Ollie. He is also survived by 14 nephews and nieces.
