He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman McGrath and Margaret McGrath of Sharon, MA.; his son Thomas McGrath; and his siblings, Herman, Lawrence, Albert, William, Richard McGrath, Catherine Van Vaerenewyck, Margaret Johansen and Marie Porazzo.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his daughter Donna Berger (David); his daughter-in-law Johanna McGrath; and his grandchildren, Kevin Berger (Abigail), Emily Ruggiero (Matthew), Allison Berger, Annie Berger and Tommy McGrath. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cherished friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Chapman Funerals & Cremations - Yarmouth (58 Long Pond Dr, South Yarmouth, MA 02664). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Chapman Funerals & Cremations, Morris O'Connor Chapel (58 Long Pond Dr, South Yarmouth, MA 02664).
