We are sad to announce that on March 15, 2025, Phyllis Marie (Massi) DeFeo of West Yarmouth, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ralph DeFeo; her parents, Louise Massi (Langone) and Michael Massi; her siblings, Joseph Massi and Marie Kupczewski; and her friend Jack Cotter.
She is survived by: her daughter LuAnn Caprio (Paul) of West Yarmouth; her grandchildren, Jesse Caprio of Centerville, Michelle Fitchett (Alden) of Hendersonville, NC, Alicia Cummings (John) of South Yarmouth and Brian Caprio (Jessica) of West Barnstable; her great grandchildren, Andrew "AJ", Bella Caprio, Atarah, Asa, Hannah Porterfield, Althea Fitchett, John Ralph “JR” Cummings, Nicholas, Chrissy, Cydnee and Dominic Caprio; and her nieces and nephews, Donna Kupczewski, Jorene Souweine, Joseph Kupczewski, Michael Massi and Joseph "JJ" Massi.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hallett Funeral Home (273 Station Ave, South Yarmouth, MA 02664). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Pius X Catholic Church (98 Station Ave, South Yarmouth, MA 02664).
In lieu of flowers, a donation in her memory can be made to the Yarmouth Senior Center, 528 Forest Road, West Yarmouth, MA 02673.
