He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter and Catherine; his siblings, Peter and Maureen; his daughter Jane Ellen; and his grandson Terrence Kirk Scott.
He is survived by: his wife Joan of West Yarmouth; his children, Katherine Scott (Roderick), Brian (Debra Carr-Kirk), Stephen, Daniel (Rebecca) and Nancy (Kevin McElaney); and his siblings, Edward (Wilma), Kathleen Basile and Rosaleen Kirk. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and 20 nieces and nephews.
