It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Downing of West Warren, Massachusetts, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on May 21, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Downing and Dorothea Downing (Buck); and his brothers, Kevin Downing, Joseph Downing and Dean Downing of Illinois.
He is survived by: his wife Marlene G. Downing (Tatro); his daughter Kimberly G. Hatch; his granddaughter Kayla D. Hatch; his children, Maureen Laramee, Robert Downing and Kathy Vieira; and his brother Donald Downing (Brenda) of Carlinville, Illinois..
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Robert's memory may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children, 516 Carew Street, Springfield, MA 01104.
