It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George Shields Jr. of West Warren, Massachusetts, born in Gary, Indiana, who passed away on September 23, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his brother Patrick; his wife Norma Shields (Beck); his parents, Hazel and George Maxwell Shields, Sr.; his children, Naomi Shields of San Antonio, TX, Tracey S. Mazur (Warren) and George M. Shields III (Georgia); his pet Tufor; and his close friend Lew Ayers. He was also cherished by two sisters-in-law, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.
