He was predeceased by: his stepparent Edwin E. Tripp; his father-in-law Raymond Audette; and his sister Deborah Bancroft. He is survived by: his wife Pauline M. Searles (Audette); his children, Ian Richard Searles of West Wareham, Holly Searles of Fall River, Samantha Pereira (Joseph) of Swansea, Jennifer Searles and Kristen Patterson (George) of Fairhaven; his brothers, Neil Tripp of New Bedford and Russell Tripp (Elaine) of Saugus; his granddaughters, Nicole Pereira, Katherine and Bonnie Patterson; his mother-in-law Bertha Audette of New Bedford; and his siblings-in-law, Diane Furtado (Silverio) of New Bedford, Suzanne Allen (Dennis) of West Wareham and David Audette (Elizabeth) of Worthington, OH. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
