He is survived by: his child Erin Pires-Colon; his grandchildren, Amari and Maleah; and his siblings, Lynne Lopes of Onset, Brian Pires, Lydia Lightford of Brockton, Roberta Pires, Sidney "Peachie" Pires, Paul Pires of Onset, Darrell Pires, Viola Pina-Pires and Donna Gomes of New Bedford. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, relatives and friends.
