She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter A. and Josephine T. (Gwozdz); her brother Stanley Iwanowicz of Richmond; her brother-in-law George Stevens; and her nephew Russell Atteridge.
She is survived by: her husband Donald Whitaker of Pittsfield; her children, Claire and Andrew; her siblings, Joanne Stevens (George) of Norton, John Iwanowicz (Janet) of Shelburne, Anne Cerveira (George) of Richmond, Theresa Atteridge (Timothy) of Amherst, Elizabeth Gniadek (Robert) of Richmond and Cynthia Iwanowicz of Richmond; and also Sarah.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to BMC Patient Care Assistance Program with "The Giving Pantry" in the memo line or to St. Patrick's Church and mailed to Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford St, Pittsfield, MA 01201.
