He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward McGrath and Elizabeth "Betty" Van Slyke McGrath. He is survived by: his wife Patricia McGrath of West Stockbridge; and his children, Edward McGrath III (Lisa) of Washington, Stephen Losaw (Melissa) of New York, Kyle Losaw (Meghann) of New York, Tonia Mulkey (Greg) of Virgina and Erica Stevens of North Carolina.
