He was predeceased by: his former wives, Janet M. McCarthy (Flynn) and Germaine "Gerry" McCarthy (Goddu); and his sons, Paul O'Donnell and Brian McCarthy. He is survived by: his children, Linda Engel (John) of Naperville, IL, Peter O'Donnell (Ann) of West Springfield and Patrick O'Donnell (Rhonda) of Feeding Hills.
