She was predeceased by: her parents, Denzel Martin and Alberta Martin; her husband Lawrence Phillips Jr.; her children, Michael Phillips and Yvette Scafuri; and her siblings, Jay, Robert Beach and Nancy Lemieux.
She is survived by: her son Lawrence Phillips III (Laurie); and her brother Donald Beach. She is also survived by her 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson.
