He was predeceased by: his parents, Doris Nelson (Eckert) and George Nelson; his wife Cheryl Nelson (Rosso); and his brother Donald Nelson. He is survived by: his children, Mathew Nelson (Megan Eischen) of Wilbraham and Lori Nelson of West Springfield; and his grandchildren, Kyle and Emma Nelson.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Toomey-O'Brien Funeral Home (1043 Westfield St, West Springfield, MA 01089). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
