She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Horne and Jessie Horne (Jack); and her husband James Young. She is survived by: her children, Grant J. (Patricia S. Young), Stuart A. (Danielle A. Young), Seonaid H. (William Drummey) of Enfield and Lesley A. Vila of West Springfield; her siblings, Andrew (Myra Horne) of Scotland, Frances Bridges of Scotland and Jessie Johnston of Scotland; her grandchildren, Megan Young, Ashleigh Young, Jennifer Carney, Andrew Young, James Drummey, Nathan Vila, Abby Young, Ian Young, Nicole Vila and Lauren Vila; and her great grandchildren, Aubrey, London, Jaelyn, Ella, McKenna, Harper, Drew, Scarlett, Hailey and Joshua. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Curran Jones Funeral Home (109 Main St, West Springfield, MA 01089). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Curran-Jones Funeral Home - West Springfield (109 Main St, West Springfield, MA 01089). A burial will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at the Springfield Cemetery (171 Maple St, Springfield, MA 01105).
