It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John W. Salamon of West Springfield, Massachusetts, born in Enfield, Connecticut, who passed away on February 23, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Anita Duquette Salamon; his son Nikolas J. Salamon; his grandchildren, Kathryn, Michael and Gabriela Salamon; his granddaughter-in-law Melia Torgler Salamon; his great grandchild Malakai Crotty; his nieces, Kelly Ann Moore and Anita Ann Moore (Taylor); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Brendan and Brigid Taylor.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:15 PM at the Toomey O'Brien Funeral Home (1043 Westfield St, West Springfield, MA 01089). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 12:45 PM at the St. Thomas Church (47 Pine St, West Springfield, MA 01089).
