She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Smart and Frances Smart; her husband Robert R. Silk; her son Robert; her granddaughter Kaitlin Silk; and her siblings, Robert, Edward, Richard Smart and Joan Benard.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Largay of West Springfield, William (Jeanenne) of Feeding Hills and Kathleen Sweeney (Frank Daniele) of Feeding Hills; her grandchildren, Dina Rossi, Brendan, Ryan, Mellissa, Corey and Courtney Silk; her great grandchildren, Shane Perry and Liam Silk; her sister Shirley Ford; her sisters-in-law, Carol and Natalie Smart; and her caregivers, JoAnne Sutton and Jack Tatro. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
