Clyde E.P. Benton Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clyde E. P. Benton (West Springfield, Massachusetts), who passed away on February 15, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde E. Price and Beatrice Price (Peche); and his brother Donald Benton Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Alma (Allard); his children, Keith W. Benton (Pashea), Heidi M. Fleury (Scott) and Sheri Almeida (Douglas); his grandchildren, Natalie, Wesley Fleury, Andrew, Christopher Almeida, Lilah and Elina Benton; his sisters, Pamela Rigsbee (Ned), Hope Borghi (Peter), Linda Benton, Maura Benton and Barbara Benton; and his sister-in-law Kristine Benton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Toomey-O'Brien Funeral Home (1043 Westfield St, West Springfield, MA 01089). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Thomas the Apostle Church (47 Pine St, West Springfield, MA 01089). A burial will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Thomas Cemetery (420 Kings Hwy, West Springfield, MA 01089).
