He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Nansheng "Nancy" Ke; his son Lifan (Andrea); his stepson Christopher Wu; his brother Weimin Yang (Weiguo Meng); his niece Lulu Yang; his grandchildren, Matthew and Elizabeth; and his parents, Ji Yang and Chun Pei Wu.
