We bid farewell to Wanda A. Michalowski of West Roxbury, Massachusetts, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 14, 2025 at the age of 101. She was predeceased by: her husband Stephen Michalowski; and her siblings, Stanley, Charley, Zenon, Claude, Alfred and Wally.

She is survived by: her children, Stephen Michaels (Susan) of Naples, FL., Claudia DiMuccio (Kenneth) of Wellesley, Christine Thompkins-Michalowski (late Bob Tompkins) of Milton, Claire Duggan (Frank) of Hyde Park, Mark Michalowski (Nancy) of Chestnut Hill and Diane Michalowski Freedland (Barry) of Sharon; and her family Wanda. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Robert J. Lawler & Crosby Funeral Home (1803 Centre St, West Roxbury, MA 02132). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. John Chrysostom Church (4750 Washington St, West Roxbury, MA 02132).

“My wife, Betsey Kane, worked for both Stephen and his son Steve at Anawan Insurance.Often on snow days or days when the boys were sick, Wanda would tell Betsey to bundle them up and she would take them upstairs and take care of them while Betsey worked.I also remember that every Christmas, Wanda would bake us a STollen.Several times ater we moved to Florida, we would visit Stephen and Wanda in Falmouth.I am truely sorry for your loss”
