He was predeceased by: his brother Frederick Grattan; and his parents, Frederick Grattan and Alice Grattan. He is survived by: his children, Kerry Ciapciak (James), Robin Malone (Scott), Joseph Grattan (Nancy) and Michael Grattan (Lynn); his grandchildren, Ryan Malone, Patrick Ciapciak (Ashley Ciapciak), Casey Ciapciak (David Thibault), Kristen Ciapciak, Sarah Malone, Matthew Malone, Emma Grattan, Faith Grattan, Gabrielle Grattan, Julia Grattan, Lauren Grattan, Lindsey Grattan, Thomas Grattan and Elizabeth "Libby" Grattan; and his siblings-in-law, Dr. Jon Cronin and Geri McKenna. He is also survived by 30 nieces & nephews.
