She was predeceased by: her father John W. Ryan; her brothers, Larry and Kevin; and her friend Regina Ford Novek (Sheila). She is survived by: her husband Robert E. Grandfield, III; her children, Robert E. Grandfield, IV of West Roxbury, Sarah Grandfield (Nathaniel Adams) of West Roxbury, Jennifer Grandfield (Pouya Shahbodaghi) of Dorchester and Jenny; her grandchildren, Carys, Jack Grandfield, Anne and Rose Adams; and her siblings, Mary Gay Tobin (John) of Charlestown, Kathleen Murphy (John) of Cotuit, Moira Dougherty (late Kevin) of Manchester, John Ryan (Kate) of Manchester, Polly Ryan of Boston, Cuenca, Ecuador, Peter Ryan (Frances) of Gorham, Maine, Stephen Ryan (Kate) of Weymouth and Joseph Ryan (Kathy) of Attleboro. She is also survived by 16 nieces and nephews, and many cousins and friends.
