He was predeceased by: his brother-in-law Robert Mealey of Framingham; and his parents, Gerald Griffin and Dorothy Griffin (Lorenz). He is survived by: his wife Donna (Mealey) of West Roxbury; his children, Jodi Griffin of Brooklyn, Daniel Griffin (Jate) of Bellingham, Elizabeth Bjorkman (Randy) of North Attleboro and Nicole Griffin of West Roxbury; his brother John Griffin (Joan) of Dedham; his grandchildren, Aubrey, Emma Bjorkman and Max Griffin; his siblings-in-law, Joanne, John Ryan of Westwood, Deirdre Mealey of Westwood, Ginny, Dan Carroll of West Roxbury and Becky; and his nieces and nephews, Chris Ryan (Jen), Karyn Healey Christina (Keith), Ali (Mike), Marissa Mealey, Robbie, Dan Mealey, Michael (Sarah), Tim (Kaitlyn), Erin Carroll, Lauren, Ashley and Kevin Griffin.
