He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael O'Dea and Josephine O'Dea (Costello); and his sibling Bernie Hession. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen M. O'Dea (Ahearn); his children, Michael Patrick O'Dea of West Roxbury and Megan Marchese (Andrew) of Holliston; his granddaughters, Evelyn and Vivian Marchese; and his siblings, Mary Kirwan of Ireland, Freda Morrissey of Ireland, Teresa Kilgarriff of Ireland, Dermot of Ireland, Gerard of Ireland, Michael John O'Dea of Ireland and Martin of Natick.
