He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew McGowan and Sarah McGowan (Doherty); and his siblings, Sally Jean (McGowan) and Daniel McGowan. He is survived by: his brothers, James McGowan of Dorchester and Robert McGowan (June). He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, in laws, and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Carroll-Thomas Funeral Home (22 Oak St, Hyde Park, MA 02136). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Most Precious Blood Church (25 Maple St, Hyde Park, MA 02136). A burial was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at the St. Joseph Cemetery (990 Lagrange St, Boston, MA 02132).
