Mary (McGreal) Rohan Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 22, 2024, Mary (McGreal) Rohan of West Roxbury, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John McGreal and Nora McGreal; and her siblings, Agatha Healey and Paddy Joe McGreal. She is survived by: her husband Patrick Rohan; her children, Kathy MacVarish (Robert) of Hanover, Maureen Mullowney (Mike) of Newton, Siobhan Dwan (Bill) of Hingham, Desmond Rohan of Dorchester and Patricia Roy of Plainville; her grandchildren, Michael, Patrick, Deirdre Mullowney, Delia, Shane Dwan, Christopher and Elizabeth Roy; and her siblings, Betsy Carey, Kathleen Gill, John McGreal, Ann Belson, Tom McGreal and Pauline Thomas. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and visiting her brothers and sisters.
A wake was held on Sunday, September 29th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the William J. Gormley Funeral Home (2055 Centre St, West Roxbury, MA 02132). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, September 30th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Theresa of Avila Church (2078 Centre St, West Roxbury, MA 02132). A burial was held on Monday, September 30th 2024 at the St. Joseph Cemetery (990 Lagrange St, Boston, MA 02132).
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mary may be made to St. Theresa of Avila Parish 2078 Centre Street, West Roxbury, MA 02132.
