She was predeceased by: her parents, Pedro Carcana and Ramona Carcana (Rodriguez); her husband Marcelino Plaza; her children, Frank Plaza of Dorchester and Eddie Plaza; and her sibling Pito.
She is survived by: her daughter Sonia Benejan (Antonio) of Lowell; and her siblings, Nori, Marisol, Chaida, Elena, Pedro, Berto, Efrain, Pipe and Felix. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
