He was predeceased by: his parents, Abdulahad Maraka and Nazira Gabriel. He is survived by: his wife Jaqueline Hachma; his daughters, Abir Zaloom (Hubert) of Bedford and Ghadir Sakkal (Elias) of Syria; his grandchildren, Richard and Sarah; and his brothers, Grégoire Maraka of Sweden, Zaki Maraka of Sweden and Elias Maraka of Syria. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
