She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband George M. Scanlon of Moseley's Ballroom; her children, George E. Scanlon of West Roxbury, Mark T. Scanlon (Teresa), Edward F. Scanlon (Diane), Nancy E. Poitras (late Robert "Bob"), Sheila C. Cronin (Michael) and Mary L. Scanlon; and her sister Marjorie "Margie" Quill of West Falmouth. She was also cherished by 24 great grandchildren.
A rosary was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the William J. Gormley Funeral Home (2055 Centre St, West Roxbury, MA 02132). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Theresa of Avila Church (2078 Centre St, West Roxbury, MA 02132).
