He was predeceased by: his wife Muriel V. Slavet; his brother Hyman Slavet; his daughters, Amy Glaser, Beth Slavet (Arne Gadeberg) and Julie Slavet (John Walber); and his parent Boston.

He is survived by: his grandchildren, David Glaser (Kelly), Joshua Glaser (Mary), Daniel Walber (Gavin Mevius) and Elizabeth Walber; and his great grandchildren, Julia, Genevieve Workman, Charlotte, Natalie, Mila, Sadie and Gavin Glaser.
