He is survived by: his wife Shannon; his children, WayMan Payne, Sr. (Erica), Deric Marcell Thompson, Sr. (Fay), Antwan Steed (Theresa Davis), Nicole Dumas-Little (Corey), Erica Dumas and Sheena Steed; his siblings, Loretta Brooks and Marco White, Sr. (Carolyn Dumas); his grandchildren, Carmen, William, WayMan Jr., LeeDai'Ja, Shawn, Naomi, Devin, Aaliyah, Amylha, Dallys and Deric Marcell Jr.; and his brothers, Donald White, Sr. and Benny White, Sr.. He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, and lifelong friends.
Charitable donations in Deric's memory can be made to the Smilow Cancer Center at Yale-New Haven Hospital and Masonicare Home Health & Hospice in place of flowers.
