She was predeceased by: her parents, Helge Olsson and Maria Victoria "Tora" Olsson; and her sister Ingegerd Jönsson. She is survived by: her husband Mario Méndez-Peñate; her children, Larisa Méndez-Peñate of Cambridge, MA and Andrés "Andreas" Méndez-Peñate (Manuela Igel); her grandson Diego of Watertown; and her sister Ulla Olsson Brun (Sweden) of Norberg. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and in-laws.
