With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David J. Hines Jr. of West Roxbury, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 4, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Kathleen Hines (McDonough); his parents, David Joseph Hines and Marjorie Ryan (Kearney); his children, David J. Hines III (Casey) of West Bridgewater, Patrick A. Hines (Bridy Loughlin) of Roslindale and Erin K. Menard (Brian) of Franklin; his sister Patricia A Hines of Swampscott; his grandchildren, Natalie, Flynn, Maeve Hines, Liam, Emma and Avery Menard; and his nephew Justin Hines. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the William J. Gormley Funeral Home (2055 Centre St, West Roxbury, MA 02132). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Name Church (1689 Centre St, West Roxbury, MA 02132).
