With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cecilia Urrejola of West Roxbury, Massachusetts, who passed away on June 22, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Hector Sanchez; her son Hector Sanchez; and her brother Arturo. She is survived by: her children, Cecilia Koegel, Carmen Gloria Urrejola of West Roxbury, Ana Maria Salfity (Mike) and Fernando Sanchez of West Roxbury; her great grandchildren, Aiyana, Marcello, Tatiannah, Andre, Ariana, Sofia, Elisabeth, Christian, Jose Samuel, Emili, Antonio, Hedy and Alessandra; and her siblings, Eliana, Ramon and Eugenio. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Cecilia was a talented writer, recently winning at 95 years of age, the Mujer Semilla Award for the international women's month for her contribution to literature, arts, and music.
